There are steps you should take to help keep your child safe.
According to Cole, it is better for kids to stay in groups and to gather together rather than be on their own.
Towards the evening, when it gets dark, make sure to keep a flashlight or use a phone to be visible.
Adults and teenagers are advised to be more aware of their surroundings and be cautious.
