FOX Sports NFL analyst Mark Schlereth makes some bizarre comments on a recent appearance on the You Better You Bet podcast. Schlereth made it known that he is not a fan of people who travel in inappropriate footwear, and wants them to pay the price for it.
Schlereth said what?
On the podcast, host Nick Kostos set Schlereth up with a funny question saying, “Non-football related. Out of all of the things happening in your life right now, Stink, what makes you the most annoyed? What pisses you off the most? Something non-football in your life.”
From there, Schlereth let it rip, “I’m like, I’m the happiest go luckiest guy you’ll ever meet in your entire life,” Schlereth replied. “I will say one thing that irritates me is — see, now I’m telling on myself — people that don’t know how to travel. Like, nobody wants to see your feet in flip-flops on a plane. Not one person. Nobody wants to see you in a tank top with your armpits hanging out. Not like that, like that drives me insane. Have some couth about you and, you know, dress appropriately. Put on a pair of shoes.”

It didn’t stop there either. Things escalated when Schlereth was asked by Kostos if the underdressed travelers should face the most extreme of all consequences you could think of.
Kostos asked, “Should the people in flip-flops on airplanes, should they be executed?”
“Well, I don’t know about that,” Schlereth said. “But I always pee on the floor to make sure, I’ve seen people walk in socks in the bathroom, I always pee on the floor to make sure if you walk in in socks, you’re getting urine on your feet.”
Kostos loved his response saying, ““Awesome stuff, Stink. We’ll talk to you next week.”
What Stink has been up to
This viral conversation only adds to what has been a very eventful last few months for Schlereth. Back in July, Schlereth’s morning show on FS1, Breakfast Ball with Danny Parkins and Craig Carton, was cancelled.
In recent weeks, Schlereth has been filling in on FOX’s NFL coverage for analyst Mark Sanchez, after he was arrested in Indianapolis. FOX has yet to formally announce any type of punishment for Sanchez, and they also have not addressed any long-term plans to replace him since the altercation occurred.
Schlereth is set to call the Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Las Vegas Raiders game this Sunday on FOX at 4:05pm EST, alongside Chris Myers and Kristina Pink.
