Voters in the greater Montreal area have decided who will lead their cities for the next four years.

Here is a breakdown of who won the mayoral races in Montreal’s demerged municipalities, the South Shore and Laval.

Here’s where these race stood as of early Monday morning.

South Shore

• Longueuil: Catherine Fournier, the mayor of Longueuil, has been re-elected.
• Brossard: Incumbent Mayor Doreen Assaad has won with more than 80 per cent of the vote.

Laval

• Stéphane Boyer, Laval’s current mayor, is projected to be re-elected.

West Island

• Dorval: Incumbent Marc Doret is leading in a very tight race against Umberto Macri, with 64 out 67 polls reporting.
• Pointe-Claire: John Belvedere re-claimed the mayoralty, unseating incumbent Tim Thomas.
• Beaconsfield: Martin St-Jean has won, succeeding incumbent mayor Georges Bourelle, who did not run this time around.
• Sainte-Anne-Bellevue: Michel Boudreault won over incumbent mayor Paola Hawa.

Demerged municipalities

• Town of Mount Royal: Incumbent Peter Malouf has been re-elected.
• Côte-Saint-Luc: As of 6 a.m. Monday, incumbent Mitchell Brownstein has a narrow 50-vote lead over David Tordjman. All votes are counted, according to the city’s website, but the Élections Québec website has not yet reported an official result.
• Hampstead: Jeremy Levi has been elected over Jack Edery with William Steinberg a distant third.
• Montreal West has a new mayor, Jonathan Cha led over incumbent Beny Masella and Franco Forlini.
• Westmount: Michael Stern has been elected as the new mayor, winning over Lynne Casgrain and Mary Gallery.

Some Montreal-area municipalities have mayors that were elected by acclamation, like Kirkland, Dollard-des-Ormeaux and Boucherville.
