A CORONATION Street star has filmed their final scenes after 12 years on the soap – and has already started a new job.
The actor is bowing out of the ITV show after a long stint ahead of their exit over the winter period.

Now The Sun can reveal that actor Daniel Brocklebank has filmed his final scenes on the show after playing clergyman Billy Mayhew since 2014.
A source said: “It’s the end of an era for the show with Billy’s time on the cobbles coming to an end.
“He’s been central to some of Corrie’s biggest storylines in the past decade but all things come to an end.”
Actor Daniel has finished filming and has begun rehearsals for his new job after landing a starring role in Young Frankenstein at the Liverpool Everyman Playhouse.

The monster musical comedy will begin shows on December 3 and run until January.
Earlier this year The Sun revealed that bosses had decided to bring an end to the character in a ‘story-based decision.’
Confirming his exit, Daniel said: “I have been working on Corrie for a quarter of my life.
“I have adored every minute I have been in that building and have never not looked forward to going into work.
“I love everyone who works on this show and whilst I am sad to be going, I am equally excited to see what the future holds.”
Corrie producer Kate Brooks said: “Billy will be involved in a major storyline over the coming months, which will see him tested in ways he never imagined, as friendships and his faith are pushed to the limit.
“We’re incredibly sad to bid farewell to Dan, who has been fantastic in some of Corrie’s biggest storylines over the past few years, most notably Paul’s MND.
“An actor of immeasurable talent and skill, and an absolute treasure behind the scenes – he will be missed by all of us on the cobbles.”
Actor Daniel joined the soap in 2014 as Sean Tully’s new love interest and quickly established himself as a supportive character on the cobbles.
However not long after Billy became a more standard Corrie character having affairs, being revealed as the unwitting killer of Ken Barlow’s daughter Susan and then descending into heroin addiction.
And more recently he’s become embroiled in pal and ex Todd Grimshaw’s ordeal as abusive boyfriend Theo tightens his grip on him.
