Man hurls antisemitic comment at Dave Portnoy during pizza review in Mississippi

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy was the target of an antisemitic comment while filming content in Mississippi on Friday.
Portnoy was recording one of his famous “One Bite” pizza reviews outside of what appeared to be Boardtown Pizza in Starkville, Mississippi, when a passerby hurled the phrase “F–k the Jews,” toward Portnoy. The comment was immediately condemned by the crowd outside the restaurant.
“Why don’t you come in the camera, buddy?” Portnoy, who is Jewish, said in response while gesturing at him to come closer, according to a video posted on X.

The man then walked up to Portnoy and his cameraman, and the two then had an inaudible face-to-face exchange before the heckler eventually walked away.
“That was awful,” one woman can be heard saying during the video.
“F–k you, get out of here,” yelled another toward the person who made the antisemitic comment.
The man who made the comments has yet to be identified.

Portnoy is in Starkville making content at Mississippi State, with Boardtown Pizza being near the university’s campus.
This is the second time this year that Portnoy’s faith has been targeted while recording one of his pizza reviews, with another person making the same comment at him while filming outside of Terrazza in Toronto back in June.
“See, there we go, there we go,” Portnoy said after the person yelled at him then.

Some fans in the background started to laugh, which led to Portnoy scolding them.
“What are you guys f–king laughing about?” Portnoy said while turning toward the fans, who then became quiet. “Exactly. So here we go, one bite everybody knows the rules. We won’t let that get … what is that Toronto hospitality there?”
“That’s terrible, terrible,” said Bill the Greek, who was with Portnoy during his trip to Canada.
