Head, Carey return to squad as South Australia travel to Tasmania in Sheffield Shield

In preparation for The Ashes, Travis Head and Alex Carey return to the South Australia squad for their Sheffield Shield clash with Tasmania, starting on Monday, November 10.
Head makes his first domestic red-ball appearance since October 2024, while Carey’s sole four-day appearance this season came last month against Queensland.
The pair were announced in Australia’s Ashes squad on Wednesday for the first Test in Perth, alongside the in-form Brendan Doggett.
The seamer travels to Tasmania too, having picked up a six-wicket haul last week against Western Australia.
Jake Lehmann and Henry Hunt retain their places in the 12 after scores of 96 and 84 respectively last week.
Conor McInerney, Harry Nielsen and Lloyd Pope drop out from the squad.
