Blue Star Mothers, Salvation Army to host military appreciation breakfast

Free event Nov. 15 honors Coshocton County veterans with breakfast, guest speaker and military displays.
A military appreciation event for all Coshocton County veterans and their spouses will be held Saturday, Nov. 15 from 9-11 a.m. at The Salvation Army.

Star Mothers and the Coshocton Salvation Army will host a military appreciation
event for all Coshocton County veterans and their spouses Saturday, Nov. 15 from 9-11 a.m. at The Salvation Army on Chestnut Street in Coshocton.
A free
breakfast will consist of sausage gravy, biscuits, scrambled eggs, orange
juice and coffee.
The guest
speaker will be John Fletcher. He was a Marine for four years and finished up
retiring as a staff sergeant in the Army National Guard. He served in Vietnam
and Desert Shield.
The event
also will include a military display with lots of military history information
and the World War II panels that were displayed on the courthouse lawn.

nonperishable food donation.
