A chilly start with widespread temperatures in the 30s, which means parts of the Hill Country could have a brief, light freeze. But we’ll warm up quickly and make it into the lower 70s by the afternoon.

The gusty, dry conditions will elevate fire danger again Tuesday. A RED FLAG WARNING is in effect Tuesday from 9 am to 6 pm. If a fire develops, it could spread rapidly.

WARMER EACH DAY THIS WEEK
Temperatures will warmup pretty quickly with mornings near 60° by Thursday and afternoons back to 80°+ Wednesday through Saturday.
Humidity will rise, too. So much so that we could have patchy morning fog Thursday and Friday.
WEEKEND STORMS?
Yes. They’ll be possible this weekend as a dynamic upper-level system takes aim at Texas. The timing is still in question, but a window for rain and storms is possible by Saturday night into Sunday morning.
