Olympiacos will be without Frank Ntilikina for their upcoming game against Zalgiris as the 27-year-old guard is dealing with a hamstring issue, according to Georgios Bartzokas.
The Olympiacos head coach confirmed during Tuesday’s (November 11) Media Day that the injury is not serious but will still prevent Ntilikina from taking part in the matchup against the Lithuanian side.
On the other hand, Keenan Evans is expected to be in the starting lineup, with the French guard’s absence opening up a spot in the rotation.
Georgios Bartzokas reiterated that Ntilikina’s hamstring issue will sideline him for the game against Zalgiris.
Olympiacos is aiming for a victory that will keep them on track for the top spot, with this matchup potentially marking Keenan Evans’ European debut in the red and white jersey.
Just a few days after his impressive first appearance against Karditsas in the domestic league, the American guard will be included in the Greek champions’ 12-man squad for the EuroLeague clash against Zalgiris at SEF.
“Initially, I had no intention of using him. I thought the best we could do was have him play in Sunday’s game against Promitheas and then next week in the EuroLeague, but unfortunately for us, Ntilikina has a hamstring issue. That’s why he didn’t play at all after the first half of the league game and he’s out for tomorrow, so Evans will be in the starting 12,” explained Bartzokas.

On whether he expected Moses Wright to explode:
