First Alert Fri-Sun: Wind, showers, and the coldest air so far this season for Las Vegas

The clouds have returned, and mild November weather continues through Thursday. First Alert Weather Days return Friday through Sunday with showers in the forecast and the coldest air of the season so far.
What is a First Alert? It’s our early heads-up for higher-impact weather so you can plan ahead.
- Veterans Day (Tuesday): Despite the added cloud cover, afternoon highs hover in the upper 70s with light wind around the valley.
- Wednesday: Mostly cloudy and still mild. The forecast high in Las Vegas is 75°.
- Thursday: Weather changes begin. The breeze picks up during the afternoon, with forecast gusts in the 20–30 mph range. The forecast high is 79° before colder air arrives Thursday night into Friday. A few showers may develop late, especially west of the valley and into the Pahrump area.
- Friday (First Alert): A colder storm moves into Southern Nevada. Scattered showers develop, and highs fall back into the mid-60s. Expect wet roads and reduced visibility in heavier showers or pockets of blowing dust.
- Saturday and Sunday (First Alert): Periods of rain remain possible through the weekend, with a chance of isolated thunderstorms. Winds will pick up at times. Snow showers are possible in the Spring Mountains, including around Mt. Charleston and Lee Canyon. Forecast high temperatures remain in the mid-to-low 60s.
- Looking ahead: The colder pattern is expected to stick around through next week, with shower chances lingering into Monday and Tuesday.
