Whether you’re a cozy crafter, a grounded green thumb, or a nurturing neighbor, there’s no shortage of exciting activities and roles to play in Pokémon Pokopia. The Nintendo Switch 2 title arrives on March 5, 2026, and is available now for preorder.
Playing as a Ditto transformed into a human, you’ll work with Pokémon friends to create your very own Pokémon paradise. Look forward to switching up your look with different hairstyles or outfits, as well as crafting items and furniture to personalize your surroundings. Pokémon Pokopia is filled with familiar faces who can help you in various ways. For example, Bulbasaur can teach you Leafage to help add greenery to the environment, and Lapras can teach you Surf to allow you to travel across water. You’ll be able to use these moves and more to help make your town more appealing to lots of different Pokémon.
You’ll also be able to interact with the Pokémon who visit your town. You can play jump rope with Bulbasaur’s vines, have Charmander help you light fires, or team up with Pokémon to help build houses to live in.
Stay alert for Pokémon who have requests to make the area a more comfortable place to live. Some will even have important requests tied to solving especially big problems, and fulfilling them will help you make even more progress.
There are also some peculiar-looking Pokémon to watch for, too. Get ready to meet Professor Tangrowth, who can teach Ditto all sorts of things. There’s also a mysteriously pale Pikachu with droopy ears known as Peakychu. A Snorlax covered in moss called Mosslax has also been spotted snoozing away—and that mossy look and the bloom atop its head suggest that it has been sleeping for quite a long time. And Smearguru is a colorful Smeargle whose paint-covered appearance cuts a vibrant figure.
