Today’s Latest News, Bihar Election Result 2025 LIVE: Vote counting for the Bihar Assembly elections begins today. As per the Election Commission of India’s official website, counting of ballots and the release of early trends for the 2025 Bihar polls will start at 8 am on November 14, with final results expected by evening. Exit polls suggest that the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance is poised to hold on to power. Axis My India forecasts a close contest, giving the NDA 121–141 seats, the MGB 98–118 seats, and JSP 0–2 seats. Today’s Chanakya, meanwhile, predicts a sweeping victory for the BJP with 160 seats, followed by 77 for the RJD and six for Others. Overall, nine exit polls on Tuesday estimated that the NDA may secure around 147 seats in the 243-member Assembly.

Today is also counting day for Assembly bypolls conducted on November 11 across six states and one Union Territory. Voters in Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Telangana, Punjab, Mizoram, and Odisha chose new MLAs for eight constituencies that became vacant earlier this year. The Election Commission had issued the Gazette Notification on October 13 to formally set the election process in motion.

Meanwhile, investigators probing the Red Fort car blast have traced the shops that supplied the materials used to create the explosives. According to sources, these establishments are located in Palwal, Gurgaon, and Faridabad. Identifying the suppliers is expected to help agencies understand how the device was assembled, who provided the components, and whether any of the sellers had direct or indirect links to those behind the explosion.
