Grayson Allen leaves Phoenix Suns’ game after colliding with Pacers’ big

Suns’ Grayson Allen reflects on his career-high scoring game

Grayson Allen scored a career-high 42 points, hitting 10 shots from 3, in the Phoenix Suns’ victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Nov. 10, 2025.

Phoenix Suns guard Grayson Allen went to the locker room in the second quarter after bumping knees with Indiana Pacers backup big Jay Huff on a dribble drive.

Allen checked out of the Suns’ Nov. 13 home game with 8:15 left in the first half with 12 points on 5-of-6 shooting in 12 minutes.

He’s been ruled out the remainder of the game with a right quad contusion. Collin Gillespie started the second half for Allen.

Allen has been on a tear, scoring 65 points in his last two games. He went for a career-high 42 points in Phoenix’s win Nov. 10 over New Orleans at Mortgage Matchup Center.

He hit a Suns single-game record 10 shots from 3, another career best.

Allen followed that up with a 23-point effort in a 123-114 road victory Nov. 12 over Dallas.

Allen was driving baseline when he found Collin Gillespie for an opposite corner 3 to give Phoenix a 42-27 lead with 9:01 left in the first half.

On the play, Allen made the pass and Huff had one foot out of bounds. Looking to avoid a collision, Allen sidestepped left and hit his right knee with Huff’s knee.

Allen limped back down the court. He later checked out of the game and left the bench for the locker room.

Phoenix led, 70-52 at halftime.

Allen entered Thursday’s game averaging a career-high 19 points and shooting 44.6% from 3.
