Kings of Leon announce Limerick and Belfast summer shows
American alternative rock band Kings of Leon have announced two shows in Ireland next summer with dates in Limerick and Belfast.
The band will play Belfast’s Ormeau Park on Monday, June 29th, and Limerick’s Thomond Park on Wednesday, July 1st.
Tickets for both of the gigs, priced at €89.75 and €99.75, including booking fee, go on sale through Ticketmaster at 9am on Friday, November 21st.
MCD presale will open from Wednesday, November 19th, at 9am. Fans hoping to get tickets before general sale can register for the presale here. Presale links will then be emailed by 7pm on Tuesday, November 18th.
Comprising family members Caleb, Jared, Nathan and Matthew Followill, Kings of Leon have played several open-air Irish gigs over the years including shows in Marlay Park and Slane Castle.
The band headlined Electric Picnic this year with a set on the closing night of the festival. “Kings of Leon remain consummate professionals. They may not seem to be having much fun, but they deliver what people come for,” Ruby Eastwood wrote in her review of the gig.
