Another downtown Winnipeg restaurant has gone up in flames.
Just before 6 a.m. on Friday, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service was called to La Roca on the corner of Smith Street and York Avenue for the report of a fire.
Damage to the restaurant’s windows was visible from Smith Street.
Firefighters wrapped up on scene just before 8 a.m.
Several police cruisers remain parked outside the restaurant.
There is no word on injuries or a cause at this time.
Fire officials continue to investigate.
