El Paso WinterFest is back for the winter of 2025 – 2026, bringing all kinds of winter and holiday fun for all ages to downtown El Paso.
El Paso WinterFest officially begins with the annual parade of lights in downtown El Paso and the lighting of the huge Christmas tree in San Jacinto Plaza. That happens November 22.
El Paso WinterFest will be open nightly from 5pm – 11pm through January 4th, 2026 and has been nominated by Newsweek as best holiday market in the USA.
El Paso Winterfest was voted 2nd best in the United States of America last year, hopefully this year we can snag the #1 spot. You can vote for El Paso here.

El Paso WinterFest Info
- Admission is free but some attractions and activities, (the skating rink for example), will have a fee.
- Pictures with Santa are free but he’s only there weekends, from 6p-9p.
- Holiday movies are also free, see the schedule here.
- Dress warm but in layers so you can add or remove items as needed.
- Wear comfortable shoes, you’ll be walking a lot.
- Cash and cards are accepted. (Some vendors may experience technical problems or low/no cash on hand moments.)
- No outside food or drinks allowed.
- Bag size restrictions may be imposed by security. Plan on bringing a small one to avoid delays.
