Cold, November rain arrive for Las Vegas weekend

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Cold overnight temperatures and rain are in the forecast for Las Vegas this weekend.
Friday is mostly cloudy with isolated showers and a high in the upper 60s.
Periods of rain are expected on Saturday, with highs in the mid-60s. A few showers could linger into Sunday, but most of Sunday looks fairly dry.
Rainfall amounts around Las Vegas will range from 1/2″ to 3/4″ with isolated 1″ amounts for areas along and west of the Spring Mountains.
Snow levels will remain fairly high on Saturday, mainly above 9,000, where 4″ to 8″ of snow could fall.
Snow levels will drop a bit on Sunday with another 1-2″ of snow possible.
Highs this weekend will drop into the 60s, with nights dipping into the upper 40s.
The last time Las Vegas saw lows in the 40s was back on April 27th.
Another storm system is on the way next Monday evening with even colder temperatures and another shot of rain and mountain snow.
Next Tuesday and Wednesday’s highs will drop into the 50s for the first time since April 2nd.
