Solo Leveling’s Live-Action Movie Will Hit Hard If It Learns From This Viral Cosplay

There’s no denying that Solo Leveling is the hottest anime out at the moment. It’s an incredibly popular series that has only adapted a relatively small portion of the manhwa that it’s based on. With room for a few more seasons, there’s no telling what’s in store for one of the biggest shōnen series of all time.

One Piece has proven that live-action anime adaptations don’t have to be bad. The live-action Netflix series, also titled One Piece, is massive for anime and for those who want to see their favorite series look as realistic as possible.

If Solo Leveling ever wants to create its very own live-action film, this cosplay has to be the first thing they consider. It’s not easy bringing anime characters to life, but one Redditor did it masterfully.

Solo Leveling Is the Greatest Shōnen Series in Years

It Has Broken Record After Record, and It’s Not Done Yet

There’s never been a better time to be a fan of shōnen anime. Series like Chainsaw Man and Demon Slayer are some of the best modern day anime series in general, and even brand-new series like Gachiakuta are proving that the genre is far from over.

Out of all the new hits, there’s nothing quite like Solo Leveling. To say that the series took the world by storm might be an understatement, as even the biggest fans of anime couldn’t have predicted this series’ monstrous success.

Solo Leveling has reached new levels of success because it’s so ridiculously simple. It’s an unapologetic power fantasy featuring one of the edgiest characters in anime. While other anime series force edginess onto their main character, Sung Jinwoo just works.

Solo Leveling also has some of the best fights in the history of anime. Jinwoo pulls out all the stops against every enemy he’s against, and there’s not a character in the series who could beat him in a brawl.

If Solo Leveling Ever Makes a Live-Action Film, This Cosplay Needs to Be Studied

Igris Has Never Looked So Cool (or Threatening)

The future of Solo Leveling is up in the air. A third season hasn’t been announced, which is a shock considering just how successful the series is. Demon Slayer has changed the world of anime through its movies, making it more than likely that Solo Leveling will also come out with a movie.

If Solo Leveling ever creates a live-action movie, however, Igris has to look like this cosplay. Redditor u/Ivoryu_cos made Igris look amazing. This cosplay features the Blood-Red Commander in his Shadow form, showcasing his might with iridescent purple armor, a massive sword, and Igris’ textbook red plume stemming from his helmet.

This cosplay does a great job of showing why Igris is considered one of the strongest Shadows in Jinwoo’s army. He’s massive, brutally fast in the anime, and is one of the smartest fighters in Solo Leveling. Hopefully this isn’t the last time we see Igris in live-action, as there’s a ton of potential here.
