‘Travis Kelce Got Some Crazy Anger Issues’ — Chiefs Star Faces Backlash From NFL Fans for ‘Fake Tough Act’ vs. Broncos

Travis Kelce could be nearing the final chapter of his illustrious NFL career, but the Kansas City Chiefs star is still producing at an elite level, leading the team in receiving yards this season. In Week 11 against the Denver Broncos, Kelce once again started great on the field, but it wasn’t his performance that stole the spotlight.
Instead, he drew widespread attention for a pair of heated exchanges with rookie cornerback Jahdae Barron and fourth-year defensive back Ja’Quan McMillian, sparking a wave of criticism from NFL fans.

Travis Kelce’s Confrontations With Broncos DBs Go Viral
Kelce got off to a strong start in Week 11, creating separation on a crisp route and hauling in an early catch against Barron. But after the rookie chased him down, several Broncos defenders, McMillian, swarmed Kelce and brought him to the turf.
“He’s looked spritely this year.”
“Did you say ‘spritely?’ That is big for you, Tony.”

The Chiefs’ tight end apparently didn’t appreciate extra bodies piling on, and he got into a heated exchange with Barron before getting into the face of McMillan, with the two appearing to exchange some curse words. Fans wasted no time roasting the veteran for what many saw as unnecessary hostility.
“Travis kelce loves getting into the faces of guys way smaller than him. He’s gonna do great in retirement as a stage bouncer at the Taylor Swift concerts, Tossing around tween girls who just want a bracelet,” a fan wrote. Another fan chimed in, “Kelce is such a loser,” while a third added, “McMillian, I heard you tell Kelce to STFU. I like it.”

Kelce’s profile has grown even larger since getting engaged to Taylor Swift before the season, and with that comes louder criticism. While some viewers chalked his reaction up to normal on-field intensity, others accused him of faking his toughness.
“Kelce got some crazy anger issues lmao,” one fan said. Another wrote, “Kelce with the fake tough act. Go beat up your coach.” “I would only stop slapping Travis Kelce to go and fetch a chair leg,” a third added.
Despite the noise, Kelce remains one of the league’s most productive tight ends. Through nine games, he has recorded 41 receptions for 540 yards and three touchdowns, leading the Chiefs in all major receiving categories except scores. He currently ranks as the sixth-best tight end per PFSN’s TE Impact metric with a score of 84.5 and a B grade.
The Chiefs entered Week 11 at 5–4 and third in the AFC West, trying to dig themselves out of a slow start. While the score was only 6-6 at halftime, the Chiefs must win this game or risk slipping into uncertain territory about their playoff hopes.
