I’m A Celebrity fans said ‘you couldn’t write this’ as an unlikely campmate revealed they had a ‘crush’ on Aitch.

The UK rapper is one of the biggest stars competing on this year’s edition of the annual Ant and Dec ITV series.

Hailing from New Moston, Aitch is one of the UK’s fastest rising musicians, becoming a household name in 2018 with the release of his debut single Straight Rhymez.

Going on to win a Brit Award and release two albums, the 25-year-old, whose real name is Harrison James Armstrong, has collaborated with the likes of AJ Tracey, Ashanti, Ed Sheeran and Anne-Marie.

Viewers saw Aitch making his I’m A Celebrity debut on Sunday night (November 16) where he quickly proved that he was willing to get stuck into the challenges.

Managing to win a trip to camp in a fancy SUV by finding tools to unlock his golden ticket, Aitch was covered in guts as he and three other stars won a steak dinner.

Aitch was in fine form on Monday night (November 17) as he showed off his style of humour that has helped him gain a large legion of fans.

Early on in the episode, he called the Emmerdale actress ‘a bad man’ for managing to help Kelly Brook find her toothbrush after she accidentally threw it into a bush.

Another portion saw Aitch reveal that he would be interested in pursuing an acting career, highlighting his love of one of Hollywood’s biggest franchises.

“I want to be an actor one day, I want to be a James Bond villain kind of actor one day… I don’t think they’ve ever had a rough around the edges Manc villain,” he said.

However, the highlight of the night was when comedian Ruby Wax took part in a speed dating segment, where the

Ruby heard comedian Edie Kadi and EastEnders actress Shona McGarty explaining their dream date night, weighing up if she would choose to go out with either of them.

Prior to taking part in the game, Ruby revealed that she’s ‘never pursued’ a man and said that Aitch and streamer Angry Ginge would be the campmates she’d have an interest in at a younger age.

Following the game, Ruby left her campmates in stitches by revealing that despite not taking part in the game, she still wanted to go on a date with Aitch.

Aitch took the moment in good spirits, saying that he’d be ‘interested’ in Ruby while he spoke to the camera in the Bush Telegraph room.
