Radio Kerry’s 12th Christmas Jumper Day is on Thursday, December 11h 2025

The 12th annual Radio Kerry Christmas Jumper Day fundraiser for St Vincent de Paul will take place on Thursday, December 11th – and all funds raised will go to Society of St Vincent de Paul in Kerry.
Over the past 11 years almost €200,000 has been raised to support the invaluable work the society does and all thanks to the generosity of individuals, school communities and businesses across the county.Christmas Jumper Day is about FUNdraising.
Wear a Christmas Jumper – It’s Simple
People of all ages are being encouraged to take part in their own local environment simply by wearing a Christmas Jumper and making a donation to St Vincent de Paul Kerry.
“Then share a photo or video via social media, email, text and WhatsApp so that we share them on Radio Kerry Social channels. Private individuals, families, school and university students, teachers, lecturers and administration teams, colleagues in small, medium and large enterprises – whether working from the office or home can all participate.

“Register to let us know you are taking part in Radio Kerry Christmas Jumper Day 2025,” according to a message from the radio centre.
Sinéad Donnelly, Area President, SVP Tralee and West Kerry said that last year in the those areas alone, SVP spent €364,000 supporting local families and individuals in need.
“That level of help is only possible thanks to the generosity shown through initiatives like the Christmas Jumper Day. Go raibh míle maith agaibh to everyone across Kerry for standing with us — your support keeps hope alive at Christmas.
“We’re very grateful to everyone who has been a part of Radio Kerry’s Christmas Jumper Day in aid of St Vincent De Paul since 2014 and we hope to have your support again this year! said Ms. Donnelly.
How to Donate
Donations may be made directly to the S. Vincent de Paul Kerry bank account, their shops around the county or to Radio Kerry. Online donations can be made via www.radiokerry.ie/jumperday and through Payzone. There is also a dedicated phone line for donations (066) 712 8021 (Extension 1) with 100% of the money going to St. Vincent de Paul Kerry.
The money raised via Christmas Jumper Day is used to fund a number of St. Vincent de Paul projects right across Kerry. These include Christmas food hampers, Santa gifts for children who are homeless and in direct provision, Christmas Day Meals on Wheels and the Kerry Education Fund. St. Vincent de Paul operates a donation centre in Tralee and eight stores across their Conference areas in Tralee, Castleisland, Listowel, Killorglin, Killarney, Dingle, Kenmare and Abbeyfeale.
