The EU, together with Australia, Norway, Switzerland, and the UK, has endorsed a joint statement in Paris committing to enhanced transparency on official supported export credits in the energy sector. The initiative supports informed policymaking and aligns export finance with global energy transition goals.
The participating countries intend to be transparent on all their related export credit transactions within the scope of the Arrangement on Export Credits, broken down by energy, and have tasked the Export Finance for Future (E3F) coalition to report on the data.
