Bexar County grand jury indicts man in fatal shooting of actor Jonathan Joss

SAN ANTONIO – A Bexar County grand jury has indicted the man accused of fatally shooting Hollywood actor Jonathan Joss.

Sigfredo Ceja Alvarez, 56, is charged with the death of Joss, known professionally for voicing John Redcorn on King of the Hill and playing Chief Ken Hotate in Parks and Recreation. Joss, whose legal name was Jonathan Joss Gonzales, was shot outside his mailbox on Dorsey Drive on June 1.

According to an arrest report, Alvarez told officers at the scene, “I shot him,” before being taken into custody. He later posted a $200,000 bond.
