The local president of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers says mail is flowing through the system, despite the ongoing labour dispute with Canada Post.
Michael McDonald of CUP-W says now is a good time to get any parcels and letters in the mail.
He says both sides are at the table in Ottawa with the help of mediation, and there are no rotating strikes.
“I’d say if customers were to put their will into Canada Post to get their parcels out it’d probably be the quickest that you’ve seen the parcels move through the system.”
