Magic Star Franz Wagner’s Hilarious Celebration With Brother Moritz Wagner Goes Viral

Franz Wagner gave fans more than just solid two-way basketball on Tuesday (Nov. 18) night. He gave them the funniest NBA moment of the week. As the Orlando Magic’s 121-113 win over the Golden State Warriors at Kia Center, the German forward shared a hilarious celebration with his brother, Moritz Wagner, that instantly went viral.
Franz Wagner and His Brother Deliver a Viral Celebration
Wagner was celebrating with friends and teammates courtside. When he reached his brother, Moritz Wagner, he broke into a full “milk the cow” celebration, grabbing Mo’s thumbs and performing the motion with complete commitment.
The clip immediately spread across social media, drawing laughter from fans who have come to love the duo’s unfiltered chemistry.
Known for their chemistry and goofy sense of humor, the two turned a routine celebratory handshake into a moment that overshadowed even the game’s biggest plays.
Moritz, who plays for the Magic as well, is out indefinitely with a left ACL tear, which he suffered on December 21, 2024. He underwent surgery in January with no set timeline for his return to the court.
While the Wagner brothers delivered the laughs, the Magic earned respect with their performance on the court. Orlando outplayed the Warriors throughout the night, snapping Golden State’s three-game winning streak and dropping the Warriors to 9-7 overall.
The win also marked Orlando’s fourth victory in its last five outings, further proof that the team has stabilized after a rocky start.
The Magic opened the season with a win but quickly stumbled with four straight losses. Since then, their improved defense, stronger rebounding, and increased ball movement have sparked a turnaround.
Wendell Carter Jr. anchored the effort, delivering a powerful double-double of 17 points and 12 rebounds while controlling the paint on both ends. His physicality disrupted Golden State’s rhythm and set the tone early.
Wagner followed with a strong all-around outing: 18 points on 7-of-17 shooting, eight rebounds, and three assists — another example of the versatility that has become central to Orlando’s identity.
Magics Builds Momentum After Early Struggles
The Magic entered the night at 7-7, having seen a promising three-game winning streak halted by the Houston Rockets in a narrow 117-113 overtime loss. Tuesday’s win over a full-strength Warriors lineup was exactly the type of response head coach Jamahl Mosley had been hoping for.
Wagner, meanwhile, has been critical in Magic’s turnaround. In three of the last five games, he was the lead scorer for his team, delivering 25+ points in each game.
Now at 8-7, Orlando finds itself back above .500 and trending upward at a moment when the Eastern Conference remains tightly packed.
But even with the encouraging basketball, it was the Wagner brothers’ comedic chemistry that stole the show. They will hit the court again on Thursday, Nov. 20, against the Los Angeles Clippers.
