Strong Earthquake Jolts Tripura, No Casualties Reported

A strong earthquake shook Tripura on Friday morning at around 10:09 am, triggering panic among residents across the state. People rushed out of homes, offices and shops as the tremors were felt for a few seconds.
According to initial reports, there are no casualties and no major damage to property reported so far. A magnitude 5.2 earthquake in the India-Bangladesh border region has occurred according to credible reports. For example: the region of northeastern India / Bangladesh experienced an M 5.2 event with no major damage reported.
