HBO Max’s new TV and movie releases for November 24 to 30, 2025, include Flight Risk and Krypto Saves the Day: Package Pandemonium.
Wednesday, November 26, 2025, sees Lionsgate’s Flight Risk debut on HBO Max. Mel Gibson directed the film from a screenplay written by Jared Rosenberg. The story follows a U.S. Marshal who escorts a government witness to trial after the witness gets in trouble with a mob boss. The pair soon find themselves in danger when they realize the pilot transporting them is an assassin hired to kill the witness. After getting rid of the assassin, the pair tries to fly safely while avoiding other assassins who are sent to kill them.
Mark Wahlberg, Michelle Dockery, and Topher Grace lead the cast. Maaz Ali, Leah Remini, Paul Ben Victor, Eilise Patton, Savanah Joeckel, and Monib Abhat appear in supporting roles.
Friday, November 28, 2025, brings Krypto Saves the Day: Package Pandemonium to HBO Max. This is the third episode of the animated series Krypto Saves the Day, which is part of the DC Universe. The story follows Krypto, Superman’s pet dog, who performs numerous heroic actions like his owner.
Also dropping this week on HBO Max is OWN for the Holidays: Fake Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. This film stars Kiki Layne and Etienne Maurice and follows Maya, a reserved professor who pretends to be in a relationship with an unconscious stranger. She becomes part of the stranger’s family’s holiday plans, which complicates her situation. Things become more complicated when she meets the stranger’s doctor, who is also her ex-boyfriend.
