Susan Gail Tuck SWEETMAN

1959-2025
It is with sadness, but in the confidence of our trust in the promises of Jesus Christ that Susan went home on October 28, 2025 to be with her heavenly family.
Susan will be lovingly remembered by her husband Brian R. Sweetman, sister-in-law Amy J. Sweetman and “sister” cousin Cheryl Brideau and other Baldwin, Tuck and Harrow family members. Brother Blair Tuck and family.
Susan was predeceased by her parents Roger C. (2020) and J. Eunice (Baldwin) Tuck (2017) and in-laws Roy W. (2005) and Phyllis M. (Harrow) Sweetman (2010).
She is fondly remembered by her church families at Holy Trinity/St. Paul’s Anglican Church (Chatham) and Essex United Church.
While we shed tears for her passing, we also need to smile, chuckle and remember her generous spirit and the vibrancy of joy she brought to life.
Susan’s careers involved retail sales and professional administration work for the Saskatoon Symphony, Windsor Symphony, Roseland United Church and Essex United Church. She was also an avid volunteer.
She loved music, singing in the choir, art, theatre, entertaining, gardening, travel, television, time with family and friends and the quietness of the cottage at Kahshe Lake.
She enjoyed her home along with the feline pets that shared her life. She provided unending support to Brian in his careers, interests and on-going projects.
Special thanks to all the medical professionals who provided skilled care and compassion to her.
Cremation has taken place. A service of Celebration of Life was held at Holy Trinity/St. Paul’s Anglican Church (Chatham). Private services of inurnment at Greenhill Cemetery (Kingsville) and a scattering at Kahshe Lake (Muskoka) will take place at a later date.
Memorial donations can be made to Holy Trinity/St. Paul’s Anglican Church, the Renal Centre of Windsor Regional Hospital or to a charity of your choice.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6.
