COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – South Carolina returns to Williams-Brice Stadium on Saturday, looking to end a five-game losing streak as the Gamecocks host Coastal Carolina.
Here’s a brief look at what to know about the matchup:
KICKOFF, BROADCAST INFO
Coverage of the Gamecocks and Chanticleers begins at 4:15 p.m. on the SEC Network. Fans can also listen to the game via the Gamecock Sports Radio Network.
A BIT OF REPRIEVE?
Saturday will mark the first time the Gamecocks haven’t played a top-15 opponent since September.
FIRST TIME IN A LONG TIME
It’ll also be the first meeting between South Carolina and Coastal Carolina since a 49-15 win for the Gamecocks in 2018. The two teams were supposed to play in 2020, but the game was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
South Carolina leads the all-time series 2-0.
SENIOR DAY
South Carolina will also honor its 23 seniors on Saturday, including stars Bryan Thomas, Jr., DQ Smith and Rashul Faison.
SALUTE THE TROOPS
The Gamecocks will also honor veterans and those who have served our country as part of its Salute The Troops Day.

- 10:15 a.m. – Gamecock Park and Woodstock parking lots open
- 11:15 a.m. – LMC Fair Park & Armory Parking lots open
- 11:45 a.m. – Gamecock Village and gameday store open
- 12:15 p.m. – Box office opens
- 2 p.m. – Gamecock Walk
- 2:15 p.m. – Early stadium gates open
- 2:45 p.m. – All stadium gates open
- 3:50 p.m. – Senior Day ceremony, pregame fanfare
- 4:20 p.m. – Kickoff
TICKETS
Tickets are required to enter the stadium and can be found in the official South Carolina Gameday App. Add your ticket to your wallet; service outside the stadium can be slow.
- Physical tickets are accepted (season ticket holders)
- Digital tickets are accepted
- One phone can have multiple tickets, but all people using those tickets must be present together to enter
- Screenshots of digital tickets are not accepted

STADIUM RULES
- Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags smaller than 12″ x 6″x 12″ are allowed but must be fully clear; a logo smaller than 4.5″ x 3.4″ can be on one side of the bag.
- Medically necessary items/bags are allowed but must be inspected and tagged by security before entering. They can be checked at West Premium Gate 21 and East Gate 81.
- Alcohol is prohibited from entering the stadium; alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages can be purchased inside.
- Vertical IDs will not be accepted
- Tobacco, including e-cigarettes, is prohibited inside the stadium.

CONCESSIONS CHANGES
New this year, USC says season alcohol sales are being moved to separate stands throughout the stadium. Fans purchasing alcohol must have a valid horizontal ID.
NURSING PODS
Two ADA-accessible nursing pods have also been added at the west ground level by the guest service kiosk and first aid room as well as the east lower level by the entrance to sections 19 and 20. Each pod is accessed by the Mamava app, which is able to notify users when the pod is available.
