The former “American Idol” contestant is shutting down rumors about the status of his 25-year marriage to Deanna Daughtry after fake photos of the couple emerged, suggesting their relationship was in trouble.
In an Instagram video posted on Nov. 13, the “It’s Not Over” singer is saying, “Enough is enough.”
The video continued, “A lot of you might know [about this] because you’ve been sending these screenshots to me. S–t is getting unbelievably nuts out there with the fake accounts, the fake news, and the fake headlines. It is just insane. The amount of times I see, ‘Hey, is this real?’”

The Daughtry frontman then showed his followers the numerous AI photos he has seen of himself, including one of them being doctored to show him getting a black eye after “fighting” with his wife.
Not only is AI coming for his relationship, but it’s spreading rumors about his band, too! AI posters have shown up saying he’s going on tour with Bon Jovi, Eminem, Dr. Dre and Rihanna.
All of this is causing unwanted attention to his personal life and family life with Deanna and their twins, Adalynn Rose and Noah James, 15. He is reminding fans not to believe any news that’s not “being posted on his official page” or “at least being corroborated” by the band.
“It’s not real. It’s clearly AI, y’all,” he continued in the video. “Some of this stuff is so ridiculous that I’m baffled that people would ask if this is real. It affects me on a deep level when things are said that aren’t true about me or my family. And then to have it constantly being sent to me by people? It’s too much.”

The “Home” singer came back to IG a few days later, where he provided an update saying that he and his team “had been reporting some of these pages,” resulting in “one” being “taken down” so far.
