Jaren Jackson Jr. injury update: Memphis Grizzlies star out vs Mavs

Memphis Grizzlies star Jaren Jackson Jr. won’t play against the Dallas Mavericks on Nov. 22 at American Airlines Center due to a right ankle sprain.
He had been as listed as doubtful to play on the injury report.
Jackson first suffered the injury in a Nov. 18 loss against the San Antonio Spurs. He limped to the bench in the first half but came back and finished the game.
Jackson also missed the Nov. 20 game against the Sacramento Kings because of the ankle injury.
Jackson is averaging 17.9 points and 5.3 rebounds in 15 games this season.
Santi Aldama is expected to start in Jackson’s absence. Aldama tied his career high with 29 points in a Nov. 20 win over the Sacramento Kings.
