PROVO, Utah – The BYU Cougars went into the halftime locker room with a 10-7 lead, but it came with a price as the team lost leading WR Chase Roberts to an injury.
Roberts is in street clothes on the sideline and will miss the second half.
The Cougars (9-1, 6-1 Big 12) are in the Queen City to face the Cincinnati Bearcats (7-3, 5-2 Big 12) on Saturday, November 22.

The senior wideout caught one pass for 11 yards before exiting the game.
About Chase Roberts
Roberts’ 2025 campaign began with the senior being named to the All-Big 12 Preseason Team and Biletnikoff Award Preseason Watchlist for the nation’s top collegiate receiver.
Despite catching passes from true freshman Bear Bachmeier, Roberts’ numbers are in line with his career averages.
He began tonight’s game with 43 catches for 702 yards and five touchdowns. Roberts caught 52 passes for 854 yards and four scores in 2024.
Roberts was named a co-captain for the 2025 season.
