CF Montréal 2026 schedule starts with six games on the road, final home game in November

CF Montréal will once again start its season with a long road trip in 2026, as cold weather and an unavailable Olympic Stadium prevent it from hosting home games in February.

The schedule announced Thursday starts Feb. 21, a day earlier than the 2025 schedule, and runs until Nov. 7, three weeks later than the 2025 season to make room for a World Cup break in June and early July.

After six matches on the road (one fewer than last season), Montreal will host Supporters’ Shield champions Philadelphia Union at Saputo Stadium on April 11. The last game of the season will be at home against the Vancouver Whitecaps on Decision Day.

Fans of Lionel Messi will mark July 25, when Inter Miami FC visits Montreal. Games against arch-rival Toronto will be July 16 at home and Oct. 10 at Toronto’s BMO Field.

CF Montréal fans will need to get used to cold-weather games. Major League Soccer recently announced that starting in 2027, the season will begin in the fall and end in the spring to better match European soccer leagues and facilitate player transfers. The team said it would play some games at Olympic Stadium starting in 2028, when that stadium’s new roof should be ready.

All MLS games this season will be streamed on Apple TV, with some games also shown on TSN and RDS. Broadcast details have yet to be announced.
