Police Search for Stolen Honda Involved in Multiple Crashes

Police are actively searching for a white Honda that has been reported stolen from Carbonear. Authorities have noted that the vehicle has significant damage to its front end, suggesting it may have been involved in previous incidents.

Early this morning, around 3:30 AM, Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) officers were closing in on the driver at an Irving gas station located on Kenmount Road. As law enforcement approached, the suspect jumped into the Honda and made a swift getaway, leading to a collision that involved a taxi as well as two RNC patrol vehicles.

The driver is well-known to the police due to a history of dangerous driving offenses, which prompted the officers to abandon the pursuit for safety reasons. In light of this development, authorities are urging the public to be vigilant. Anyone who may spot the stolen Honda, which carries the license plate number HXZ 084, is encouraged to immediately contact local police to assist in the recovery of the vehicle and ensure public safety.
