Kenneth Walker vs. Zach Charbonnet: Fantasy outlook for Seahawks RBs in Week 12

The Seattle Seahawks’ backfield has been one of the more frustrating ones for fantasy managers all season. While Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet have split time in the backfield, their fantasy production has hit a roadblock.
In Week 12, the Seahawks face the Tennessee Titans in a great matchup for both Walker and Charbonnet. With Walker being a late addition to the injury report on Friday, there have been some real questions about who to start between the two this week.
With Walker active and good to go for Week 12, the start/sit decision for fantasy managers is a tough one. But, against the Titans in Week 12, there might not be a wrong answer.
Kenneth Walker vs. Zach Charbonnet: Fantasy start/sit decision for Week 12
The Seahawks face the Titans, who are 28th in points allowed to running backs this season, making for a great matchup for Walker and Charbonnet.
Even with the injury scare on Friday, Walker should get the bulk of the work for Seattle out of the backfield. He’s a must-start assuming he’s fully healthy, as this is about as good a matchup as one can get.
As Brady Henderson of ESPN reported ahead of Week 12, Mike Macdonald has hinted that Walker will get more work going forward, as the star running back has “earned” it.
Even with this injury scare, Walker should be in line for strong usage against a weaker Titans run defense in Week 12.

While Walker should start over Charbonnet, the backup Seahawks running back is still a quality play this week. The Seahawks should be up big on the Titans, giving plenty of time in the second half for Charbonnet to rack up some garbage-time points.
The injury to Walker, even though Walker is active, should also open the door for Charbonnet to be more involved during the early goings of the game.
Walker is averaging 11.1 fantasy points per week this season, while Charbonnet is averaging 9.6 points. Neither is great, but if there were any matchup where the Seahawks running back duo can both outperform that number, it’s in Week 12 against the Titans.
Both should be in lineups this week with such a great matchup on tap against the Titans. While there’s some risk for both, the upside is too strong in Week 12 for Walker or Charbonnet to sit on benches.
