Patriots rookie G Jared Wilson leaves Bengals game with ankle injury

New England Patriots rookie offensive guard Jared Wilson went down with an ankle injury on the first drive of Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
After the play, he could be seen grimacing on the field as the training staff and coach Mike Vrabel came over to check on him. Wilson has been a permanent fixture along the Patriots’ much-improved offensive line this season.
He could be seen walking off the field under his own power with a noticeable limp. The Patriots updated his injury status as questionable to return to the game.
Veteran center/guard Ben Brown stepped in as the replacement on the left side of the line.
