NRMA Insurance, Harvey Norman, Chemist Warehouse join Nine’s Winter Olympics lineup

Nine has named the headline partners and sponsors for its broadcast of the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026, signing NRMA Insurance, Harvey Norman, Chemist Warehouse, Bupa and GWM ahead of the Opening Ceremony on 7 February.

The broadcaster is positioning the Winter Olympics as one of its biggest commercial moments of 2026, offering fully integrated brand opportunities across the 9Network, 9Now, Stan Sport and its Total Publishing and Total Audio platforms.

Packages are being pitched across all budget levels, with Nine encouraging brands to use the mid-summer lead up and early new year period as a launchpad for 2026 campaigns.

The network said the Games will give advertisers deeper and more meaningful audience connections through data-led targeting and unified reach across its ecosystem. Nine expects 83% of 18–39-year-olds to tune in, framing the event as a high-ROI moment for brands seeking emotionally primed and hard-to-reach audiences.

“We are thrilled to welcome our headline brands, who recognise the immense value of connecting with Australians during this powerful national moment,” Andrew Cann, Nine’s director of sales Olympic and Paralympic Games, said. “The broadcast of Milano Cortina 2026 presents a huge opportunity for brands to seize this unmissable chance to connect with millions of emotionally engaged Australians across Nine’s unrivalled Olympics integrated ecosystem.”

More than 50 Australian athletes are expected to compete, including Australian short track speed skater Brendan Corey (pictured), freestyle skier Jakara Anthony, snowboard halfpipe star Scotty James and aerial skiers Laura Peel and Danielle Scott. Nine said Milano Cortina 2026 could deliver Australia’s strongest Winter Olympics medal prospects in history.

Coverage begins on Wednesday 4 February with Let The Games Begin, followed by the Opening Ceremony on 7 February across the 9Network, 9Now and Stan Sport.
