World Darts Championship draw in FULL as Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton discover opponents
The draw for the World Darts Championship took place on Monday afternoon, with Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton among those to discover their first-round opponents.

Gerwyn Price will begin his bid for a second World Darts Championship crown when he goes up against Adam Gawlas in the first round at Alexandra Palace.
World No.9 Price, who became world champion for the first and to date only time in 2021, has been in excellent form of late, reaching the semi-final of the last three major TV tournaments.
On Sunday, Price progressed through into the last-four of the Players Championship Finals, only to lose out to eventual winner and the world’s current best player, Luke Littler.
Previously, the 40-year-old got to the last-four at the Grand Slam and the World Grand Prix and has appeared to find his groove ahead of next month’s revamped World Championship at Ally Pally.
Now, Price has discovered his first opponent for the upcoming 2026 tournament, with the Cardiff-born ace set to face Czech professional and world No.180 Gawlas in round one.
Meanwhile, Wales No.1 and world No.5, Jonny Clayton, has a difficult-looking match against an in-form Adam Lipscombe, who enjoyed an impressive run at the recent Players Championship Finals. As for the other Welsh competitor, Nick Kenny is set to take on Justin Hood.
