Jordon Hudson, girlfriend of UNC coach Bill Belichick, says she’s suing podcaster Pablo Torre

The Jordon Hudson-Pablo Torre feud is back on

– and it might be headed to court.

Hudson, the 24-year-old girlfriend of North Carolina football coach Bill Belichick, posted Sunday on social media that she is suing Torre, a sports commentator who has devoted at least four episodes to Belichick and Hudson.

Earlier this year, Torre reported that Hudson had been banned from the North Carolina football facility, a report that the school quickly refuted.

On a more recent episode of his “Pablo Torre Finds Out” podcast, this one about North Carolina football general manager Michael Lombardi, Torre said it was Lombardi who was telling people that Hudson had been banned. Torre has reported that there is competition between Hudson and Lombardi, a longtime associate of Belichick’s.

“P.S. I’m suing you @pstorre,” Hudson posted on Instagram along with a photo of her wearing an all-access media pass for UNC football.

She was also wearing a “banned” necklace in the photo. Hudson has been on the field before games all season and normally is in the room for Belichick’s postgame interviews.

WRAL reached out to Hudson on Sunday asking for more details about the potential lawsuit. She didn’t respond. Searches of court records in North Carolina and parts of Massachusetts, where Hudson has registered dozens of corporations, didn’t turn up any lawsuit by Hudson.

An attorney listed on Hudson’s trademark filings didn’t respond to WRAL.

Torre replied to Hudson on X, writing, in part, “I assume this means you’re declining my invitation to be a guest on @pablofindsout? Either way, I look forward to hearing from you.”

Hudson posted Monday afternoon on X about what she called an inaccurate report from Torre, who had reported that Hudson made herself a year older by listing the wrong birth year on a document produced by UNC for the families of the football coaching staff.

In her post, which includes screenshots from a conversation with football chief of staff Emily Muse, who acknowledges putting 2000 instead of 2001 as Hudson’s birth year.

“One of MANY inaccurate and materially defamatory reports about me by Pablo Torre,” she wrote. “I did not fill out any UNC internal documents or forms pertaining to the family directory.”

Torre’s podcast was recently nominated for an award for “best shows” and “best episodes” by Apple Podcasts. The best episode nomination is for reporting that Torre did on Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard, a sponsorship and potential NBA salary-cap circumvention.

In a reply to that news, Hudson posted: “You’re welcome.”

North Carolina is 4-7 in Belichick’s first season in Chapel Hill after a 32-25 loss to Duke on Saturday. The Tar Heels end their season Saturday against NC State.

Belichick, 73, won six Super Bowl titles as the head coach of the NFL’s New England Patriots. He is likely to be selected for enshrinement in the Pro Football Hall of Fame next year. He is in his first year of eligibility.

Belichick’s two sons are on the UNC staff. The New York Post reported Friday night that defensive coordinator Steve Belichick’s wife Jen berated Hudson in an “unhinged 40-minute rant” in Bill Belichick’s office after UNC’s victory against Stanford on Nov. 8.

The report cited sources, though it included direct quotes, attributed to Jen Belichick.

WRAL asked Hudson after the Duke game if she had any comment on the Post story, but she declined.

Bill Belichick was notably late to his postgame press conference after the Stanford game. The game ended at 7:53 p.m., and Belichick didn’t begin his postgame remarks until 8:46 p.m. He started his comments by thanking the media for its patience and he took additional questions.

“We got time for a couple more if you want,” he said in the middle of a 27-minute press conference. “I know I kept you hanging here, so I can go a little longer if you want.”

Belichick has said repeatedly that Hudson has no role with the UNC football program. He said that the pair have a personal and business relationship.
