FBI Director Kash Patel has said that the agency is working with the Department of Justice to see if there is anything more from the Jeffrey Epstein files that can be released to the public.

Speaking to journalist Catherine Herridge, Patle said the FBI and the Department of Justice are working to produce what can be legally released.

“There are court orders in place, protective orders and orders to seal in place that legally prohibit the disclosure of information related to any investigation when there’s a court order of that fashion. So we’re working with DOJ to see if we can produce anything more,” Patel said.

DOJ asks court to release Epstein grand jury materials

The FBI Director made the comments on the same day the DOJ asked judges in the cases of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell to release grand jury materials.

The DOJ said after Trump signed the Epstein Files Transparency Act last week, the new law allows them to disclose the documents, which the courts have kept secret.

FBI probing Epstein-Democrat links

Earlier this month, after the House Oversight Committee released thousands of Epstein documents, Trump directed Attorney General Pam Bondi and the FBI to investigate links between the convicted sex offender and several notable Democrats, including Bill Clinton.

When asked about the probe, Patel said, “We’ll just follow the facts. It’s pretty simple. For this FBI.”

‘two separate boxes of information’

In July, the DOJ and FBI stated that an extensive review of evidence in the Jeffrey Epstein investigation uncovered no “incriminating client list.”

However, on Monday, Patel admitted that more charges are possible in the Epstein case.

“Based on the new referral, we’ll take a look at that and see what evidence comes, but there’s an important distinction. The information that the government possesses versus the information that the Epstein estate possesses, those are two separate boxes of information and the Epstein estate has not been willing to share information with the US government,” Patel said.
