The latest trailer, released on November 6, has generated a staggering 135.9 million views across various platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, and Facebook, within just the first ten days. This impressive figure marks a 60% increase compared to the trailer for Season 1, which garnered 84.3 million views in the same timeframe.

The trailer’s reception highlights a significant global interest in the series, with nearly half—46.8%—of the audience hailing from international viewers. This broad appeal underlines the show’s relevance and excitement beyond its primary market.

Season 2 will adapt the narrative outlined in Rick Riordan’s second novel in the beloved Greek mythology series, The Sea of Monsters. The trailer hints at another perilous journey for the protagonist, Percy, played by Walker Scobell, as he grapples with challenges that threaten both Camp Half-Blood and his best friend Grover, portrayed by Aryan Simhadri.

The season will feature a strong cast, which includes Leah Sava Jeffries, Charlie Bushnell, Dior Goodjohn, and Daniel Diemer. Notably, Tamara Smart is set to take on the role of Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus. The series also boasts an impressive roster of guest stars, including Jason Mantzoukas as Dionysus, Timothy Simons as Tantalus, and Lin-Manuel Miranda as Hermes.

In exciting news for devotees of the franchise, Percy Jackson and the Olympians has already secured a renewal for Season 3, which is currently in production in Vancouver. With such momentum, the series seems poised to capture hearts and imaginations anew.
