On November 26, the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) will host a special event in Toronto featuring Jeremy Hansen, a prominent astronaut who is part of the Artemis II crew. The event marks the launch of an engaging e-book titled The Explorers Club: To The Moon! This initiative aims to ignite children’s interest in space, while promoting both learning and a passion for reading.
The launch will take place at the Cedarbrae Branch of the Toronto Public Library, where Hansen will be joined by actress Jasmine Brough. Brough will read the book to an audience of children, providing them with a unique opportunity to explore the wonders of space exploration alongside a real astronaut.
The e-book, which will be available in both English and French starting November 26, can be accessed through the CSA’s official website. In addition to the digital book, there will be printable resources, including coloring pages featuring characters from the story, designed to further engage children’s imaginations.
This event is a collaborative effort involving the CSA, Library and Archives Canada, and the Toronto Public Library. Members of the media are encouraged to attend in person or to view the event live on the CSA’s YouTube channel and Facebook page.
