Shpat Kasapi, Albanian Singer, Dies Aged 40 in Italy

The family of Shpat Kasapi have confirmed that the well-known Albanian singer has died. According to reports from North Macedonian media, the artist suffered a sudden cardiac arrest while in Italy.
Kasapi was performing at a concert in Bologna when he fell ill. He did not recover, and authorities believe a heart attack was the cause of his untimely death.
Born on 1 May 1985 in Tetovo, Kasapi grew up in a family with musical roots and rose to fame in the early 2000s. Across more than two decades, he became one of the most cherished names in Albanian pop music. His hits — such as “A më do?”, “Valle Kosovare”, “Dashni pa limit” and “Aroma e saj” — enjoyed widespread popularity across Albanian-speaking communities.
