British finance minister Rachel Reeves is presenting her budget statement to parliament on Wednesday, unveiling tax rises that are expected to raise £26.1bn (€29.8bn) annually by 2029/30, according to the country’s budget watchdog.

The Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR) unexpectedly published its outlook on its website ahead of Reeves’ delivering her budget. It later apologised for what it described as a “technical error”.
