Albion 1-1 Birmingham City

Following a delay to the restart because the officials experienced a technical issue, Heggebø had a flick held before the Baggies got through some heavy Blues pressure.
Price couldn’t quite take advantage of two counter-attacking opportunities for Albion as the visitors continued committing men forward.
Birmingham did then grab an equaliser with 12 minutes remaining via Ducksch, who guided a cross home.
Johnston and Mowatt shot off-target in the hosts’ best late chances, and Blues made Griffiths produce a good double-stop too, but ultimately neither team notched a winner.
Albion: Griffiths, Campbell, Phillips, Mepham, Styles, Johnston, Collyer (Diakite 11 (Bielik 79)), Mowatt, Grant (Iling-Junior 79), Price, Heggebø (Maja 84).
Substitutes: Wildsmith, Gilchrist, Taylor, Bany, Dike.
