It’s no secret they offer fewer discounts throughout the year compared to their competitors, usually reserving discounts for major sale periods like Black Friday.

But Amazon has just dropped a major surprise for diehard fans, reducing the Apple 11-inch iPad Air to an incredible 25 per cent off, which is pretty much the biggest discount we’ve seen ever for Apple.

WHERE TO FIND THE BEST BLACK FRIDAY APPLE DEALS
Apple itself never slashes the price of its gadgets, so you’ll need to turn to other stockists to score a significant discount.
With an official Apple Store on its site, Amazon Australia is currently the best place to find deals on Apple tech, especially during major sale events.
Rival online retailer eBay Australia is also likely to drop prices on products like AirPods and iPhones for Black Friday and Cyber Weekend, while retailers like The Good Guys, Vodafone, Harvey Norman and JB Hi-Fi are all expected to discount select products.
WHEN IS BLACK FRIDAY 2025?
Black Friday falls on November 28 this year but we are expecting to see Apple deals trickle in from the beginning of November. We’ll be updating this page regularly with all the best offers as they arrive.
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AIRPODS MODELS?
Over the years, Apple has expanded its line to include several different AirPods models. Currently, you can choose between the AirPods (2nd Gen) with either a standard or wireless charging case, the AirPods (3rd Gen), AirPods Pro (2nd Gen) or the AirPods Max.
The AirPods (2nd Gen) are the standard option from the range and arrive with a universal design, hands-free voice assistance from Siri and around five hours of battery life (or up to more than 24-hours with either charging case). A pair with the regular charging case will usually set you back $219, while a pair with the wireless charging case (which can be charged with a compatible wireless charging pad) are priced at $319.
The AirPods (3rd Gen) are a nice step up from the (2nd Gen) model, offering a contoured design for a better fit, a wireless charging case and six hours of battery life (or up to 30-hours with the charging case). The buds are priced at $289, making them even cheaper than the 2nd Gen model (with wireless charging case), so they’re well worth the upgrade.
The AirPods Max are the first over-ear headphones from the AirPods range and are currently some of the best over-ear headphones on the market. Similar to the AirPods Pro, the AirPods Max also feature a Transparency Mode, which allows you to hear what’s happening around you. According to Apple, the pair boast up to 20 hours of listening time off a single charge too, making them a great travel companion.
