WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2025 Results, Highlights & Live Blog

Over 44,000 members of the WWE Universe will pack San Diego’s Petco Park for Survivor Series: WarGames.

Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque has promised the 39th edition of the annual post-Thanksgiving Premium Live Event will be the biggest in history with two star-studded WarGames Matches, a Women’s World Title match and one of John Cena’s final appearances ever as an active WWE competitor.

The ‘Greatest of All-Time’ will be defending his Men’s Intercontinental Championship tonight against the very man he beat for the title earlier this month in Dominik Mysterio. Cena won the gold in his hometown of Boston, now he’ll put it on the line when Dirty Dom has the homefield advantage.

#SurvivorSeries has never been bigger. @JohnCena’s final PLE as an in-ring performer. The IC Title is on the line against @DomMysterio35.

Hall of Famer Nikki Bella is out to prove that she is the ‘Diva’ who is more than capable of running the WWE Women’s Division. Bella stabbed Stephanie Vaquer in the back just to secure this opportunity at the Women’s World Title. Will her turn to the dark side be worth it, or will Vaquer still be La Primera by the end of the night?

Last but certainly not least, are you ready for war? The Men’s and Women’s WarGames Matches are absolutely stacked this year and promise to deliver total chaos.

AJ Lee will wrestle just her second match in over a decade, and the first cage match of her entire career when she teams up with Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair to battle Becky Lynch, Asuka, Kairi Sane, Nia Jax and Lash Legend. Lee has vowed to lead her team to victory, while The Man has done similar. Who will deliver the goods when cage door is locked?

The main event tonight will feature World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns and The Usos trying to work together to topple Paul Heyman’s team of Brock Lesnar, Drew McIntyre, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and Logan Paul.

Will Punk, Rhodes and Reigns be able to put their egos aside long enough to earn a major victory over The Oracle’s dream team? We’ll all find out soon enough.

The Takedown on SI has live coverage of Survivor Series: WarGames all night long, starting at 7 p.m. ET.

WWE Survivor Series Results:

The Women’s WarGames Match kicked off the show, featuring Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss and AJ Lee taking on Becky Lynch, Asuka, Kairi Sane, Nia Jax and Lash Legend. The babyface team has the advantage after Flair defeated Asuka Friday night on SmackDown.

Charlotte Flair and Asuka started the match for their respective teams. No shark cages this year. Each new competitor entered the match Royal Rumble style. The opening five minutes was a back-and-forth encounter between these two longtime rivals, but The Empress finally got the definitive upper hand after she shoved The Queen off the top rope and into the steel cage. It was at this moment that the clock began to tick down for the next woman to enter the match.

IYO SKY entered her 7th career WarGames Match from the No. 3 position and she came down armed with a trash can lid that had her name painted on it. She wasted no time using it. IYO knocked The Empress into the corner and delivered a running knee that drove the lid right into Asuka’s face.

Becky Lynch entered the match next and she came armed with a kendo stick. She immediately went to work on IYO with it, before Charlotte roused herself to rip it out of Lynch’s hands. The Man and The Queen had a brief moment to renew their rivalry, but Asuka blasted Charlotte from behind as she and Lynch were trading blows. The Man then started grating Flair’s face into the cage as the clock began to tick down.

Alexa Bliss was the fifth competitor in the match and she made a beeline to the ring to save her tag team partner. No weapons needed as Little Miss Bliss hit the ring with five feet of fury and took Asuka down. Bliss and Flair then teamed up on Lynch with the type of tandem offense that made them Women’s Tag Team Champions. IYO SKY soon joined in on the fun and the babyfaces had the heels on the run with their 3-on-2 advantage. Again, the clock ticked down.

Kairi Sane was next into the fight and she brought a metal chain to the party. That chain would soon be used to tie the babyfaces together, as Asuka and Kairi delivered drop kicks in stereo to their opponents.

LIGHT IT UP!!

Good luck keeping AJ Lee out, Becky Lynch 🤭

AJ Lee entered her first ever WarGames Match from the No. 7 position, but Becky Lynch immediately ran to the door to block her from getting into the ring. Lee proceeded to climb the cage and entered the hard way with a diving cross body onto the The Kabuki Warriors. The former Divas Champion then went right after The Man, but Kairi Sane and Asuka would soon make it a 3-on-1 beatdown. Charlotte and Alexa would make the save as the clock began to tick down again.

Nia Jax was out next to even the numbers for her team. She drove both Flair and Alexa into the cage and began to deliver dueling hip attacks into the steel. The Irresistible Force then helped keep SKY and Lee at bay until reinforcements could arrive.

Rhea Ripley rounded out the babyface team from the ninth position and the Nightmare came in with a Terrifier inspired protective faceguard, and a full assortment of weapons. Ripley went to town on her opponents with a kendo stick, before waking up IYO SKY and telling her to grab the trash can. Rhea locked Kairi Sane in the Prism Trap, allowing SKY to put the trash can around her head and give her a running drop kick.

Lash Legend was the final woman into the fray and WarGames officially began. The Boujee Badass made an immediate impact with a big pump kick on Charlotte Flair that earned the first two-count of the match.

Legend and Jax took down much of the field with some powerhouse tandem offense, while Lynch delivered a Man-Handle Slam to AJ Lee. Asuka held SKY in position for Kairi to hit the Insane Elbow and she nailed it. Rhea Ripley broke up the pinfall attempt, but the Nightmare found herself on the wrong end of a 5-on-1 disadvantage.

However, Asuka ended up with the misfire of the match. She went to spray Rhea with the mist, but Charlotte came in last minute and shoved her out of the way. Lash Legend was hit with the mist by mistake, and while her teammates checked on her, Flair, Ripley and SKY got back on the attack.

IYO ended up climbing to the top of the cage, and was handed a trash can by AJ Lee (who needed a boost from Rhea to reach). SKY put the can on her head and hit a blind diving senton off the top of the cage that took out four members of Team Asuka. The only woman left standing for her team at that point, was Becky Lynch.

The Man attempted to run, but she was yanked off the cage by Charlotte Flair. Rhea Ripley then hit Lynch with the Rip Tide and AJ Lee swooped in with the Black Widow submission. With all of her teammates down, Lynch had no choice but to tap out and referee Jessika Carr was right there to call for the bell.

RIGGED!!! I DID NOT TAP!!! RIGGED!!!

As you can see, this is another match that will soon be under protest by The Man.

Winners: AJ Lee, Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss and IYO SKY.

The Men’s Intercontinental Championship Match was next, and Dominik Mysterio made his way to the ring first, flanked by Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez. Michael Cole noted on commentary that the Intercontinental Championship had not changed hands at Survivor Series in well over two decades.

After a brief delay to let some anticipation build, John Cena came out to a THUNDEROUS ovation. Before making his trademark run to the ring, Cena had a cool moment with cameraman Stu. The ‘Greatest of All-Time’ said it was good to have Stu’s son in attendance for his final Premium Live Event match.

Can’t believe this is John Cena’s LAST PLE 😭

Dirty Dom got the upper hand early on in this one, thanks to some help from Roxanne Perez. The Prodigy grabbed Cena’s leg and tripped him as he was bouncing off the ropes. The ref didn’t see it happen thanks to some ‘inadvertent’ contact from Dom. When Cena started to fight back, Dom again distracted the ref and Raquel clocked John with a right hand.

Mysterio would then pay homage to the late, great Eddie Guerrero with the Three Amigos and scored a close two-count.

The fight soon spilled to the outside, where it appeared that Mysterio suffered a very serious injury. He went for a Hurricanrana off the barricade, but he misjudged the flip and landed awkwardly on his shoulder. Referee Chad Patton called for a medic and it looked as though Dom would not be able to continue.

WHAT THE?! 😱

Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez have been EJECTED! pic.twitter.com/locOkZEUap

— WWE (@WWE) November 30, 2025

Inside the ring, however, Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez snuck into the ring and hit Cena with a Tejana Bomb and a Pop Rox. John ended up on the middle rope and Dom shot right up and ran into the ring for a 6-1-9. Chad Patton, who was furious over the obvious ruse that had just transpired, refused to make the count and tossed Raquel and Roxanne from the match.

After the ejection, Cena would battle back. He hit Dom with the five moves of doom and then dropped him with an Attitude Adjustment, but somehow Mysterio kicked out at two.

Cena stayed on the offensive, but accidentally hit Chad Patton with a shoulder tackle. Finn Balor and JD McDonagh ran down to the ring to try and take advantage of the referee being down, but Cena fought them off and took them both out with a double Attitude Adjustment.

LIV MORGAN IS BACK!!! 😱 pic.twitter.com/IoRQ9bQjz0

— WWE (@WWE) November 30, 2025

Just then, Liv Morgan’s music hit and the former Women’s World Champion ran down to the ring to confront her man Dirty Dom. Suddenly, she smacked Dom across the face and jumped into the arms of John Cena for a big hug. Alas, it was another ruse.

Morgan jumped down and hit Cena with a low blow. She then clocked him with the Intercontinental Championship belt and he fell into the middle rope for a 6-1-9. Dom went to the top rope and delivered a splash, as Morgan rolled Chad Patton into the ring to deliver the three count.

Dom and Liv then fled the arena with the IC Title in hand. A few moments later, as he left the ring, Cena looked into the camera and thanked the fans. He said he’d see everyone at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13 for his final match.

Winner and NEW Men’s Intercontinental Champion: Dominik Mysterio.

Nikki Bella is wasting NO TIME! 👊

The battle for the Women’s World Championship was up next and Nikki Bella wasted very little time going on the offensive. She blasted Stephanie Vaquer mere seconds after the bell rang and the match was underway.

The fight quickly spilled to the outside, where Vaquer seemed to tweak her knee. Bella took advantage by delivering a leaping face buster onto the floor. Nikki was really feeling herself during her ensuing strikes. The WWE Hall of Famer was talking all sorts of trash, seemingly trying to remind the entire audience who Vaquer was wrestling.

Bella dropped Vaquer with a big spine buster and went to deliver a Devil’s Kiss to Stephanie, but she rolled through for cradle and scored a two-count. Vaquer then went for Devil’s Kiss and Nikki rolled out of the ring to avoid it.

Vaquer finally started to build some momentum and caught Bella with an SVB, but Nikki kicked out at two. La Primera then hit a running knee into the corner, but Bella suddenly surprised her with springboard kick to the face. Nikki then connected with the Rack Attack 2.0, but Vaquer just got her foot on the bottom rope before the ref’s hand counted the three.

Both women found themselves outside of the ring again and that’s where Bella found herself locked in the Devil’s Kiss. Vaquer delivered the world’s favorite move on top of the commentary desk, before rolling Nikki back into the ring to hit it again.

Stephanie then went to the top rope and hit the corkscrew splash and pinned the Hall of Famer to retain her title.

Winner and STILL Women’s World Champion: Stephanie Vaquer
