‘Flagrant 2’ Host Akaash Singh and Wife Confuse Fans With Conflicting Virginity Remarks

Akaash Singh and his wife, Jasleen, are causing a stir amongst fans after the couple made conflicting comments about the latter’s dating life before marrying the comedian.
The controversy began in October, when, on her Main Character podcast, Jasleen seemed to refute her husband’s claims about her being a virgin when they first started dating.
That same month, she addressed the backlash on TikTok, firing back at a user who wrote, “Damn, akash waited an u didn’t.” She called the comment “gross” and “annoying,” before adding: “We both hooked up with people, we both were in relationships, and then together, we both lost our virginity.”
Her response appeared to support Singh’s claims that her virginity was intact when they met.
In early November, Myron Gaines, a rival of Akaash’s, also addressed Jasleen’s controversy on X, writing: “I’m never wrong about these women.”
“@AkaashSingh tried to lecture me about women years ago with his equally retarded co-host @andrewschulz aka AnJew Schulztein,” he said. Gainz also called Singh’s wife a “stupid-ass jeet.”
According to Stop AAPI Hate, ‘jeet’ is one of the most common anti-Asian slurs, developed in 2015 on 4chan and deriving from the fake Indian name, “Pajeet.”
Singh responded to Gainz, writing: “My man out here getting triggered by jokes. How ironic. Well, don’t worry about me, Myron. I got no issue putting a bitch in her place,” alongside a clip of Gainz and his Fresh and Fit podcast co-host, Walter Weekes, appearing on Akaash and Schulz’s podcast, then called Flagrant 2, in 2022.
The video shows Singh slamming the Fresh and Fit hosts for remarks they made about not wanting to date Black women.
Then, in mid-November, a clip of Singh discussing his wife’s virginity made the rounds on X.
“My wife also hadn’t had any sexual partners, so that helped us connect a lot more,” he said. The video was paired with a compilation of Jasleen discussing her pre-marriage dating life on her socials and with her podcast co-host, Nehal Tenany, with clips pulled from the aforementioned Main Character podcast episode.
Among those comments, Jasleen said: “I was popping my pussy and living my best life in these white boy frat houses.” She also discussed threesomes, porn, finances in dating and marriage, and made sexually-explicit remarks about Tenany’s husband.
Elsewhere, fans slammed her when a video showed Singh asking her to marry him again, for the second time, because she seemed more excited about receiving an upgraded diamond ring than about his proposal. Fans also noted that Jasleen turned her cheek when Singh went in for a kiss.
Jasleen previously shared that she met her husband in 2015, after attending his stand-up set. “I felt something really special between us,” she said in a 2024 TikTok about them dating. “I can’t always explain it more than that.”
Amid the controversy, Jasleen hopped on Instagram to respond to “red pill guys” who were upset that she said, “His money is our money, and my money is my money” on her podcast.
In a separate IG reel, she and Tenany also commented on their podcast being “canceled.”
