Celtic Interim Manager Martin O’Neill

Martin O’Neill has revealed he will likely be back in the Celtic dug-out for Wednesday’s Scottish Premiership clash against Dundee.

It comes after the Irishman revealed the Parkhead side’s move for Wilfried Nancy has been delayed due to paperwork.

O’Neill is in charge of the Hoops for their league clash against Hibs at Easter Road in what was thought to be his last game.

The 73-year-old himself believed the game in Leith would be his farewell but spoke to Sky Sports before the game.

And O’Neill revealed how there are “processes” that are taking longer than expected which means Nancy will have to wait for his big unveiling.

That could mean the Frenchman is thrown into a massive top table of the table clash against Hearts on December 7 for his first game in charge.

O’Neill said: “Right, I thought it was my last game, then I got a call, yesterday, to say there is processes still ongoing and there is a still a really decent chance I will be here for Wednesday. I would definitely think that would be last one.”
