Coronation Street favourite Tina O’Brien has reportedly called time on her romance with interior designer Adam Fadlé, just months after the actress’s marriage came to an end.
The 42-year-old star, best known as Sarah Platt on the ITV soap, a role she has played on and off since she was a teenager, had been dating Adam Fadlé over the summer, with the pair making their first public appearance at co-star Jack P Shepherd’s wedding in July.
But their whirlwind romance appears to have fizzled out just as quickly as it ignited.
Tina ends the relationship and deletes every trace online
Sources close to the actress told the Daily Mail Tina decided to end the relationship after realising ‘her heart wasn’t fully in it’ and that she didn’t want to commit to something she ‘knew wouldn’t last.’
Her decision reportedly blindsided Adam, 38, who had believed the relationship had real promise.
Tina, however, was said to be firm in her choice and removed every photo of the couple from her Instagram, including snaps from their September getaway to Greece. The clear-out made it obvious to fans that the romance was over.

The breakup comes after a turbulent year for Tina
The split caps off a difficult period in Tina’s personal life. Her seven-year marriage to Adam Crofts ended last Christmas, with the separation becoming public earlier this year.
Friends say that after the heartbreak of her marriage ending, Tina enjoyed the fresh spark with Fadlé, describing him as a breath of fresh air and ‘exactly what she needed’ at the time.
But as time went on, she reportedly realised the relationship didn’t have a long-term future.
Adam, although disappointed, accepted Tina’s decision, especially after she scrubbed her social media clean of their memories.

The pair met through mutual friends in Cheshire and hit it off quickly. Earlier this year, insiders described their chemistry as instant, with the couple ‘acting like teenagers’ around each other.
But despite the early spark, the flame didn’t last.
Metro contacted a representative for Tina for comment, but has not yet received a response.
Adam Fadlé’s impressive career
Fadlé, who reportedly built a successful interior design business after studying architecture, has worked with a number of high-profile clients, including Cristiano Ronaldo, after being connected to him through a mutual client during the footballer’s Manchester United years.
Speaking to the Manchester Evening News in 2022, Adam explained:
‘Ronaldo is the biggest name you can imagine, and now we look after everything for his Manchester property.’
He revealed he regularly works with billionaires and major figures across various industries, designing bespoke interiors across the globe.
Tina’s family life away from Weatherfield
Tina and her ex-husband Adam Crofts share their 10-year-old son Beau. She is also mum to 17-year-old daughter Scarlett, her child with former Corrie colleague Ryan Thomas, who she dated between 2003 and 2009.

Scarlett is now following in her parents’ footsteps as an actress, starring in Waterloo Road while also growing a strong online presence thanks to videos with her dad and famous uncles, Adam and Scott Thomas.
Ryan is now in a long-term relationship with TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh, and the pair share two children, Roman and Lilah.
Back on Coronation Street, Tina’s character is at the centre of chaos
While Tina’s personal life has been turbulent, her on-screen alter ego Sarah Platt hasn’t had it any easier.
The character has been tied up in some of the soap’s most dramatic storylines over the last few years, including blackmail, family feuds, a fling with Damon, and her attempts to rebuild her life after her marriage collapsed.
Sarah’s story positioning means Tina’s real-life headlines have only amplified fans’ interest, with many eager to see how the actress channels her own strength into her ongoing, high-stakes plots on the cobbles.
